Are you a high-achieving law graduate with a hunger to learn, grow, and make a real impact?
Shikana Group, a leading investment and legal advisory firm, is offering a 3-month Legal Internship Program for smart and ambitious law graduates. You will work directly with our legal team supporting high-impact projects and clients across Africa — while also gaining exposure to our affiliated ventures: Zambarau Gem House and Know My Legal.
Who We’re Looking For
– Recent law graduates with a First Class or Upper Second Class degree
– Individuals who passed the bar exam on their first attempt (if applicable)
– Quick learners with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and drive
– Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
– Passionate about business law, intellectual property, investment, and African entrepreneurship
What You’ll Learn & Do
– Assist with legal research and drafting across corporate, investment, and commercial law
– Support the contracting process — including review and drafting of NDAs, service agreements, MoUs, and more
– Work on IP and compliance matters involving our affiliated businesses
– Participate in due diligence, regulatory reviews, and investor support
– Attend meetings, take notes, follow up on legal action points, and help manage legal documentation
– Get exposure to real transactions, investor relations, and tech-driven legal innovation
Program Details
– Duration: 3 months
– Extension: May be extended for another 3 months
– Possibility of Employment: Exceptional performers may be offered a full-time role

Based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
