HR and Legal Lunch and Learn Session

We are fast growing company whose Headquarters are in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. We provide Legal and Investment Advisory Services to foreign investors and stakeholders in Africa. The Company works with lawyers, data scientists, economists, political analysts and risk analysts, compliance specialists who all work towards providing real time legal and business solutions to their clients who are investing in East African Community (EAC) and Southern African Development Community (SADC) markets. The company has extensive experience in operational risk management and mitigating the same so that investors can successfully invest in Africa.

HR and Administration Officer (1)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Law, Administration, or any other relevant field 

  • Minimum of two years working experience

  • Strong communication and analytical skills, business and organizational skills, people management/ relations skills, multitasking skills, and strategic thinker.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Kiswahili

  • Strong ability to work individually or in a team setting

Specific Knowledge:

Accuracy, Good Computer Skills (MS Office), analytical skills, employee relations Skills, Leadership, Innovative, Business Acumen, Energetic, Analytical skills, Work Ethics etc.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic planning of HR and Administration activities annually

  2. Setting, monitoring, and achieving Shikana Group targets

  3. Managing recruitment, onboarding, team building, training and exit procedures

  4. Overseeing the payroll, compensation, and benefits function

  5. Support in drafting and full compliance with / of company policies and procedures

  6. Managing employee relations including Performance management and disciplinary issues

  7. Running the office and facilities management and leave record functions

  8. Compile and manage all employee files and records

  9. Ensure all HR related compliance as per company and statutory requirements

  10. Manage time, punctuality, record keeping and attendance

  11. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
